Assateague Island National Seashore is looking for Pony Patrol volunteers
Chincoteague Natural History Association - Interested in history, fantastic views, and working with visitors? Come join the team of Assateague Lighthouse volunteers. Learn details of the upcoming season with lead volunteers, Peter Pullman and Larry Welsh on April 3 at 10am at the Herbert H. Bateman Classroom. This year they are hoping to have a large enough team to expand access to the lighthouse to 2 days/week. Open 10am - 3:30pm on Fridays and Saturdays from Memorial Day to Labor Day then Saturdays from Labor Day to Thanksgiving. Morning and afternoon shifts will be available.
Chincoteague Pony Centre The Chincoteague Pony Centre is currently building a strong volunteer base to support our daily operations and seasonal events. Volunteers are the heart of our mission — from caring for ponies and welcoming guests to helping us preserve and share the heritage of Chincoteague.
