Watch at the Chincoteague ponies receive their vet checks prior to the Pony Swim, which can be viewed by the public at the South Herd Corral on Assateague Island, VA. Parking will be available at or around the Woodland Trail parking lot. Approximate time is TBD.

We encourage attendees to check for the latest updates throughout the week, as schedules may be adjusted to ensure the safety of the ponies, Saltwater Cowboys, volunteers, and spectators.

No pets or emotional support animals are permitted on the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge; even in your vehicle. Service animals specifically trained to aid a disabled person are permitted.
