Welcome to Weaving & Wine Rev 2.0! New weavers will focus on the fundamentals of weaving on a cardboard loom. Experienced weavers will continue practicing the skills they’ve learned while exploring new techniques that use two colors of yarn. Once again, everyone will go home with a small Mug Rug (approx. 5”x5”). No experience required. Encourage your fiber buddies to join. Make it a party!

Taught by Gary Smith who learned to weave in early retirement. For many years he gave weaving demonstrations at Art Camps and the Historical Museum in Aiken County, SC. This summer Gary has been introducing youngsters to weaving on the CCA porch during the Farmers Market. His mission is - Pay it Forward.
