Take time to slow down, observe, and create in the peaceful surroundings of the Chincoteague Pony Centre.

The Pony Writers & Artists Guild is a self-guided creative experience welcoming writers, artists, journalers, photographers, and anyone inspired by horses and nature. Bring your favorite creative supplies and work at your own pace while enjoying the beauty of the ponies and the facility at CPC.

Traditionally, a guild is a community of people who share a common craft, encourage one another, and continue learning together. We invite creators of all ages and experience levels to be part of that tradition.

Seating will be available throughout the property in scenic locations, and you are welcome to move to the area that best inspires your creativity within designated guest areas.

No classes. No competition. No pressure.

Join Island Roots for a fun, hands-on workshop where you’ll create a Chincoteague Pony Swim inspired garden in a terra cotta dish featuring beach accents and adorable mini pony charms!
