Joining us for the sounding rocket launch this Wednesday, June 24?  Plan ahead and make your launch day experience a success with these tips:

⏰ Arrive early – gates open at 4:30 a.m. – be ready for the start of the launch window at 5:30 a.m.

🔎 Have a backup viewing plan in case we reach capacity

🪑Bring camp chairs, comfortable clothing, and a small bag

🔦 Pack flashlights for the early morning arrival

🧴 Don’t forget sunscreen and insect repellent

🐾 Please leave pets at home

🥤 Snacks and non-alcoholic drinks welcome (keep coolers in your car)

🚀 Stay flexible – launch times can shift

The Chincoteague Island Farmers and Artisans Market & Kitchen Art Gallery at the Chincoteague Cultural Alliance, 6309 Church Street, will kick off the 2026 season on May 9th from 9am - 1pm with 45+ vendors offering fresh local seafood, produce, other good things to eat and a wide array of arts & crafts.

Wednesdays from June 17 to September 30 (except Tuesday July 28 during Pony Week)

Holiday Market Nov 28 – Saturday of Thanksgiving Day Weekend
