We are thrilled to announce the official dates for the 2026 Captain Steve’s Annual Flounder Tournament.

Get ready for 12 days of fishing, community, and big catches.

Free and open to all. For children up to age 5. All about libraries! Lots of fun, singing, stretching, craft, a snack and of course…stories. Children must be accompanied by their adult. Free and open to all!

The Chincoteague Island Library will host Coastal Crocheters twice a week:

Tuesdays from 10:00am-12:00pm

Thursdays from 4:00pm-6:00pm

The library will provide a relaxed and social setting for crocheters of every experience level.
