The Earth Day Festival is an annual community celebration held on Chincoteague Island, Virginia, bringing together local artists, makers, musicians, environmental organizations, and small businesses to celebrate our planet and inspire sustainable living.

Held each April in honor of Earth Day, the festival features live music, local vendors, sustainability workshops, art, family-friendly activities, and educational programming focused on environmental awareness, creativity, and community connection.

The Earth Day Festival is proudly presented by The Island Theatre and Chincoteague Island Arts Organization (CIAO) as a community-driven fundraiser supporting the arts, education, and cultural vitality of Chincoteague Island.

Our goal is to create a welcoming, inclusive event that:
Supports local artists, musicians, and small businesses
Promotes environmental stewardship and sustainability
Encourages education, creativity, and community engagement
Strengthens partnerships between local nonprofits and the town

Concert at the Island Theater

Coming to Chincoteague on April 25 @7pm at the Island Theatre - Emily Tsai, oboist in the Washington National Opera Orchestra and Tristan Sevella, acclaimed pianist from Toronto, Ontario will perform a special concert featuring the works of Debussy, Schumann, Dranishnikova, Mellits and Louie.

Admission is $15. Brought to you by CCA and CIAO.
