The partnership between the Virginia Master Naturalists and the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge will be hosting a guided walk of a maritime forest and a fresh water marsh. 

Come see spring in a new way and join us on the wildlife loop, Saturday March 21,2026  at 9:30am.  You won't want to miss this walk.

Join the Historic Main Street Merchants Association for our annual scavenger hunt to celebrate St. Patrick's Day on Chincoteague Island, VA!! March 20th & 21st! This is a FREE event that is open to all ages!

Visit participating businesses while searching for clues to solve a riddle and complete your playing card. Once you solve the riddle and complete your card, cross the finish line at the Ropewalk upstairs on Saturday, March 21st from 11am - 4pm to enter your card into our prize drawings! Winners do not have to be present to win. We will hold the drawings live in person as well as on the Main Street Merchants Facebook page. Winners will also be posted after the event on our website www.chincoteaguemerchants.com.

Costumes are not required but always add to the fun!

Playing cards can be picked up at any of the following participating businesses during the event.

There is no registration required and you are welcome to play anytime during the event. Please note that the finish line is not open on Friday. Please email [email protected] with any questions!
