Bookish Bingo Olympics

In honor of the Winter Olympics kicking off on February 6th, the Chincoteague Island Library is hosting our very own Olympics! 🏅
They may look a little different here at the library, but we firmly believe that reading should be an Olympic sport. That’s why we’ve created a Bookish Bingo Olympics, and we want you to participate!
Complete one bingo to earn a bronze medal, two bingos for a silver medal, and a full board wins gold—plus your name will be posted on our “Readers Podium Wall” AND entered into a raffle for a chance to win something cold and sweet, perfect for the Winter Olympics season ❄️🍦
Be sure to stop in starting on Monday to pick up your Bookish Bingo Olympics card! The Olympics will run from Monday, February 2nd through Saturday, February 28th, so you’ll have plenty of time to read, mark off your squares, and go for gold.

Veteran's Cafe

The American Legion Post 159 invites all veteran's and currently serving military to Veteran's Cafe; a free monthly breakfast on the second Tuesday of each month from 8:30am - 10:00am.
A great place to meet and enjoy camaraderie with fellow veterans and those serving.
Cafe will not meet in the months June - August.

The Delmarva Discovery Museum and Worcester County Maryland Library are learning about Bears and Hibernation during Story Time at the Museum, Tuesday, February 10, from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Come enjoy stories and activities about Bears! Due to the popularity of our Story Times the Library and the Museum have decided to require pre-registration for the event. Want to explore the Museum after Story time? It's just $5 per adult! Children and Museum Members are Free!
