Join us Friday, January 9th at the Chincoteague Pony Centre as we honor the legacy of Misty of Chincoteague and Marguerite Henry during a special evening of stories, heritage, and hands-on tradition.
📖 Susan Friedland, author of Marguerite, Misty and Me, shares behind-the-scenes stories of Marguerite Henry and the book that captured hearts worldwide.
🐎 Amanda Geci of MistysHeaven.com and Rebekah Hart of the International Chincoteague Pony Association & Registry will highlight pony preservation, the ICPAR registry, and the DNA program shaping the future of the Chincoteague Pony.

Astronomy Night: Outer Space Through the Lens

Join us under the stars for a special evening of celestial discovery! 🌠
We’ll be observing Jupiter, the king of the gas giants, as it reaches opposition — its brightest and closest point to Earth.
🔭 Your guide: Daniel McGill, a certified Solar System Ambassador, will lead the way with expert insights and telescope views.
Whether you’re a seasoned stargazer or just curious about the night sky, this is a perfect chance to explore the wonders above. Bring your questions, your warm layers, and your sense of awe!
