Smith Island Cruises offers cruises to Smith Island from both Crisfield & Point Lookout, Maryland.
The Crisfield cruise departs at 12:30pm daily (seasonal). The Point Lookout cruise departs at 10:30am Thursdays through Sundays (seasonal).
We also rent golf carts and bicycles, from Bayside Inn carry out in Smith Island to be used around the island. The golf carts hold 2 people and the bikes are simply regular bicycles. Rentals are for half hour, 1 hour and 2.5 hours.
Smith Island is composed of multiple predominantly low, salt marsh islands. There are 3 major communities: Ewell, Rhodes Point, and Tylerton. The island is accessible only by boat.
