Jaxon's Inc. is a third-generation family owned business that has served the Eastern Shore Community for 65 years.
Jaxon's Department Store provides and old-fashion "five and dime store" shopping experience for shoppers looking for shoes, clothing, housewares, fabrics and notions, toys, local Eastern Shore t-shirts, gifts, and much more. We sell boots for the watermen, Dickie work clothes and Georgia and Red Wing boots and shoes for the hardworking man. If you need Levi or Lee jeans, we have them. For the boater enthusiasts, a pair of Sperry shoes or flip flops, a pair of shorts and an Eastern Shore t-shirt or sweatshirt are all you need for your boating outing. We have it all!
We offer all sizes of casual, work, and dress clothing for children, women and men, including Big and Tall sizes. The women's department is well stocked with blouses, slacks, dresses, undergarments, pajamas, shoes, and much more. We also offer our medical professionals a wide selection of scrubs. Jaxon's also has all the uniforms, pins, and patches for your Girl and Boy Scouts.
In addition to all of this, Jaxon's sells lamp parts, canning supplies, pet supplies, school supplies, and seasonal gifts. If you need a garden flag, a decorative house flag or Old Glory (US flag), Jaxon's has them too.
Jaxon's Hardware can meet all your hardware, plumbing, and electrical needs. The sporting goods department has a wide variety of guns, ammo, and hunting and fishing supplies. If your home needs a little sprucing up, Jaxon's Hardware has a large assortment of paints an lawn and garden supplies. Everyone needs tools and Jaxon's Hardware has plenty of hand and power tools for all your building and repairing needs.
Both our stores offer old-fashion services including cutting shades, oil cloth, carpet runners, fabric, and glass and we can mix any color of paint that you might need. We also have yarn, floss, thread, sewing needles, knitting and crocheting needles in stock. We are happy to place special orders for merchandise that is not in stock. As long as our suppliers have it, we can get it. Our aim is to provide our customers with a variety of quality products at a reasonable price.
