August 31st, “Monday Nights at Main & Mumford” will focus on the 2020 Chincoteague High School graduates as they talk about Covid-19 and how it affected their senior year and their plans for the future. Be sure to watch this special CIAO presentation.
Four 2020 Chincoteague High School graduates will talk about how Covid-19 affected their senior year and their plans for the future in a program presented by the Chincoteague Island Arts Organization.
The program, produced by our Director of Streaming Services, Doug Mills, and our summer intern, Davis Stack, will be shown on YouTube at 7p.m. on Monday, August 31. A copy of this program will be given to the Museum of Chincoteague Island to become a part of its Living History Project. Also included is a beautiful video of iconic Chincoteague Island scenes and places, many viewed from a new perspective, by videographer, Keir Johnson. Since we have been unable to offer our usual series of live programs in the Island Theatre and the Annex this summer, we have moved to a new platform – streaming virtual programs online. This is the fourth in a series of diverse, entertaining and informative programs offered virtually by the Chincoteague Island Arts Organization.
