TR Baby Bear Available TR Baby Bear commemorates the 100th anniversary of the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service's Refuge System. TR Baby Bear is a collectors' edition. Proceeds from the sale of TR Baby Bear go towards educational displays and exhibits in the new refuge Visitor Center. TR Baby Bear is America's Bear. He recognizes President "Teddy" Roosevelt's role in the creation of the first National Wildlife Refuge in 1903. Included with each Bear is a brief history of the Refuge System. |

The Chincoteague Natural History
Association is a non-profit, cooperating association established in partnership with the
U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The purpose of the CNHA is to promote a better understanding and
appreciation of the Chincoteague refuge, the Eastern Shore of Virginia refuge, and the
natural history and environment of Virginia's Eastern Shore in general.
