Operated by Captain Fred Gilman, licensed and inspected by the U.S. Coast Guard to operate 100 miles offshore for a party up to "6". For the beginner and experienced angler, Reel Time is equipped with tournament rods, reels, lures and a fighting chair. She is equipped with clean, safe, and comfortable facilities, including a full Galley, Head, Shower, and Sleeping Quarters. Her up-to-date electronics include: GPS, LORAN, FISHFINDER, 24 Mile RADAR, and VHF Radios. Reel Time is "Virginia Tournament Licensed" and has a record for receiving "Citations" for Tuna, Billfish, and Shark for her anglers. Capt. Fred has many years of fishing experience. He is a member of the Chincoteague Island Charterboat Association, Chincoteague Chamber of Commerce and also a Past Commander in the United States Power Squadron and also an active member of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary.
