Music at the Dock featuring C.A.I.S.O

A summer series of free, live music concerts held in Robert Reed Park in Chincoteague's historic downtown. This week features the Caribbean American International Steel Orchestra. They are the hottest steel drum band in the DC area, playing festive music that draws from Calypso, Soca, Reggae and Latin Jazz. They were so wonderful at last summer’s Music at the Dock concert that we invited them back! Bring a blanket or chairs, or dock your boat, and enjoy the music! chincoteagueculturalalliance.org

Are Your Kids Ready For School?

Eastern Shore Rural Health System, Inc. will be holding Get Ready for School days from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at its Atlantic Community Health Center. At the Get Ready for School day events children can get:

·         Sports physicals.*

·         Required immunizations to enter kindergarten and 6th grade.

·         Well child checks for school-age children.

Plus, free dental screenings to ensure that your child is in good oral health and ready to learn! Children MUST be accompanied by a parent. Call 824-5676 to make an appointment. Walk ins will be accepted on a limited basis.  All children receiving a service at these events will be entered into a drawing for a $250 Walmart gift card!
