to Submit Design Process | Ad Request Form Ad space is available on a first-come, first-served basis (in addition a lottery for popular ad locations will be used whenever simultaneous requests are received). Ads are placed for a three-month period, and a request for an ad must be received at least 30 days prior to the posting of an ad. An ad will not occupy the same position on a page for more than a three month period if other requests for that position have been received. Ad design is available only through the Chamber (by Webmaster Robert Jobin) and design fees are included. A "clickable" ad can take a visitor to your web site or info page. Finally, animated ads (flashing or changing text or graphics) will not be used because of the larger graphic file size and the increased page loading time involved. Three ad sizes may be placed by members of the Chamber at the web site. |

Sections Open To Advertising All pages at the Chamber web site are open to advertising except for those listed below which are reserved for visitor information. Only one double-wide and one double-high ad will be placed on a page, and no more than three ads will be included on any page. Check with the Chamber office to find out when ad space will be available for the page of your choice. Not open for advertising:
What to Submit to the Chamber Please note (see samples above) that an ad provides limited space for text and a photo. Since photos will be reduced considerably in size, they should be very sharp with good color contrast. When you submit the photo and text to the Chamber office, please include a simple sketch of the proposed ad layout and note your preferred background color and whether you would like the ad to be "clickable" (takes a visitor to your web site or information page). A request for an ad must be received at least 30 days prior to the posting of an ad. Once a draft of an ad has been prepared, it will be available for viewing on a special preview page not open to the public (you will be notified of the Internet address). This will provide an opportunity to request changes in the ad design before the ad is included at the Chamber web site. Click on the link below for the printable ad request form. You may drop the form off at the Chamber office or mail it to us. Please include the items noted under "What to Submit to the Chamber" above. Click here for the form. |
