White Lightning Charters provides a variety of fishing options to suit your budget and time on Chincoteague Island.

Capt. Frank has been providing fishing charters for more than 35 years and truly enjoys showing his guests a great time on the water.

We offer near-shore and bay trips aboard our 23’ center console to fish for flounder, sea bass, tautog, striped bass (rockfish), croaker,
bluefish, whiting, and sharks.

These trips can range for 4 hours to 8 hours in length and range in cost from $50 to $150 per person.

We can also look for Chincoteague’s wild ponies and pods of dolphin on these trips.

This option is great for family outings and our boat is even equipped with a toilet for when nature calls.

If you’re looking for the opportunity to pursue biggame fishing, you’ll want to charter our 40’ sportfish for a day in the offshore canyons or
fishing deep water wrecks.

On these trips we fish for tuna, marlin, mahi-mahi, wahoo, sharks and large sea-bass. This boat has a big-game fighting chair, plush leather seating in an air-conditioned cabin, and a roomy toilet.

Offshore trips are 10 to 12 hours in length and range from $250 to $350 per person. A first mate is provided
on all offshore trips. First mates work for tips, and a 20% tip to the mate is customary.

Rods & Reels. Bait, and fishing licenses are all included in the fees above.

Just bring your own refreshments for the day, along with sunglasses, sunscreen, and cameras to capture some great Chincoteague fishing memories.
